It’s cinco de mayo “eve” and First Friday! Lots of fun, food and friends this Friday at gallery 313 and the other Friday Locations.

We have lots of treats in store this Friday in downtown Anderson.  The Out & In Show will be on exhibit at gallery 313.   View the wonderful paintings, sculptures, wood carvings, photography and much more.  Each year this art show is held in conjunction with the  Anderson Art Centers Annual Juried Show.  You won’t want to miss it.

But, that’s not all.  Tica Tallent will be signing her new book “What is Beautiful”  just in time for mother’s day and graduations.  You’ll be delighted to give this little gem.

There’s still more. We’ll kick back to the sounds of Carolina Rising while enjoying bit of sangria and treats.  They’re a can’t miss event.

Reminder, tonight at gallery 313, an amazing time at the  Sallie Middleton art show.  Join us to celebrate Christmas with Sallie Middleton Art .  Tonight, December 2nd from 5:00 to 8:00.  What a way to bring Christmas to downtown Anderson.

Sallie is one of America’s leading wild life artist and regarded as one of the most highly recognized and sought after water colorist.  Both framed and unframed prints will be available.

Also, new Japanese prints by Chad Chrysler will be available.  There are 12 signed and numbered prints in all.  Lynn Bredeson’s amazing work will also be on hand.  Lynn offers originals, prints and small artist gift items that you won’t want to miss.  Photography by our own Ray Richards is presently hanging in the gallery and will be available.   

While visiting with us at the gallery, please enjoy the refreshments and enter the drawing for incredible art and gifts.  Shop  for pottery, art, stained glass and much much more.

It’s First Friday in downtown Anderson this Friday.  Join us for watermelon treats, music, and art.  Doesn’t that sound refreshing in this heat?  We’re excited to have new pottery, art and wonderful gift finds.  Brian Green and Carolina Rising will be playing and you don’t want to miss their music.

First Friday in downtown Anderson and we’re doing it with HOT WHEELS and HIGH HEELS!  Bring your favorite high heels (or your ugliest) and enter the Crazy High Heel contest!  You don’t have to give those precious shoes away or you may want to.  Just let us know.  Voting will be Friday night from 5 to 7:45 with the winner announced at 8pm.  Have your family and friends drop by and cast their vote for your shoes. 

While  there see some of the upcoming Hot Wheels that will be showing  at the Fathers’ Day Car Show “on the square ” Saturday, June 18.

If that isn’t enough, enjoy the gallery re-hung and refreshed.  There are several new artists and new gift items too.  As always on “First Friday” we will be serving “refreshments.”  There are a number of our neighbors who will doing the same.
